The ‘Collectif de La Roue’ has submitted to Brussels Environment, in the framework of the RENOLAB.ID programme, a project to prepare, supervise and support the grouped energy renovation of the ‘Cité Jardin de La Roue’, with the following partners
- Habitat et Participation (citizen mobilisation)
- KS Architectes (architectural design)
- Brouae (energy efficiency and ‘PEB’)
- Triodos (inclusive and solidarity-based financing)
- ULB (socio-economic evaluation)
- UCLouvain (indoor environmental impact assessment)
- Climact (replication models)
- Résolia (decentralised renewable heat networks),
This is a 2-year project, which started on the 15th of January 2022 and will end on the 14th of January 2024. The subsidy granted by RENOLAB is €780,000.

The “Let’s inspire the Neighbourhood” project
Let’s inspire the neighbourhood: Our project of 13.160 € is retained (22.11.2021) by Brussels Environment! This budget will be used to prepare 5 typical facades, and to support the non-profit organisation ‘Collectif de La Roue’ in accompanying and mobilising the inhabitants of the neighbourhood. The project will last one year.
